The Philosophy
Welton Studio is a Brussels-based interior design practice grounded in a clear architectural intention: to create interiors that are purposeful, coherent and sensitively attuned to the people who inhabit them.
Working within a highly international context, the studio brings a cross-cultural perspective that is particularly valuable to expatriates, entrepreneurs and multicultural households. Rather than focusing solely on visual composition, our work examines how space functions — how it supports transitions, anchors daily routines and contributes to a sense of belonging.
With a refined attention to detail and a respect for enduring architectural principles, we shape interiors that balance sophistication with contemporary practicality. Our approach prioritises proportion, material integrity and a calm spatial rhythm, resulting in environments that feel grounded, genuine and built to last.
Our goal is to create spaces with a clear architectural narrative — environments that are not driven by trends, but by intention, clarity and long-term relevance.

The Trajectory
Welton’s trajectory is shaped by a multidisciplinary foundation that gives his work an architectural clarity uncommon in the field. He began with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Communication and Advertising in Brazil, a formation that established a rigorous understanding of visual systems, spatial perception and the behavioural patterns that influence how people move through and experience interior environments.
After relocating to Belgium, he designed and managed his own salon in Ixelles — an early built project that served as a real-world laboratory. In parallel, he undertook residential renovation projects, gaining practical experience in circulation, ergonomics, construction constraints and material performance. These early projects also introduced him to the practicalities of Belgian renovation legislation, energy-efficiency compliance and the planning process — technical knowledge that continues to inform his approach today.
He later advanced his design methodology through formal studies in Interior Design at the University of the Arts London, where he strengthened his skills in spatial planning, technical detailing and architectural composition.
Today, Welton synthesises this cross-cultural education, entrepreneurial experience and communication background into a distinctly holistic approach — one that understands clients not only aesthetically, but also behaviourally, culturally and practically. This multidimensional perspective enables him to translate lifestyle aspirations into interiors that are intentional, coherent and deeply attuned to the people who inhabit them.
